A healthcare-focused technology and engineering company
An AI-led engineering team building healthcare software, connected care and the data beneath them.
Why we concentrate on healthcare
Healthcare is harder than most sectors for reasons that have little to do with code: sensitive patient data, mission-critical systems, and outcomes that are human, not commercial.
We chose to work exclusively in healthcare because the challenges demand genuine engineering rigor. A system failure in an e-commerce checkout is a brief inconvenience; a dropped reading in a telemetry pipeline or an incorrect mapping in an EHR feed has direct clinical consequences.
That focus dictates our team standards: who we hire, how we validate software, and how we collaborate with clinical leaders. We do not build generic apps on the side. 100% of our capacity is dedicated to healthcare technology.
Clinical Safety & Reliability
Zero dropped telemetry readings, deterministic queues, and resilient edge architecture built for intermittent hospital connectivity.
100% Healthcare Dedicated
Deep fluency in FHIR R4, HL7 v2, DICOM, EHR integration protocols (Epic/Cerner), and HIPAA/GDPR clinical data governance.
Engineered for Full Handover
Documented architectures, automated CI/CD pipelines, and zero proprietary lock-in. Your internal engineering team owns the codebase.
How we approach a project
Four behaviours that define how our engineers work with healthcare organisations.
We start with the process, not the software
Before we propose an architecture or write code, we understand how patients move, how clinicians document, and where the current system creates friction. Software built without that context gets worked around, not used.
We say when something is a bad idea
Healthcare organisations are often sold technology they do not need. If a requirement can be met with an existing tool, or an AI model is being proposed where a rules engine would be safer and cheaper, we will say so.
We build for the handover
We do not build software designed to create dependency on us. Every system is built to standard patterns, documented for an internal team, and handed over with knowledge transfer sessions so you can run and extend it yourself.
Senior people stay on the project
The architects and engineers who design your system in the initial workshops are the people who write the code and attend your standups. We do not pitch with senior staff and deliver with an unsupervised junior team.
The team behind the engineering
We are software engineers, AI and machine learning practitioners, data engineers and healthcare systems architects. Many of our team have worked in clinical environments, health-tech startups or enterprise health systems before joining Pashupatastra.

Our work in numbers
These figures reflect projects delivered across healthcare software, connected care, AI and interoperability.
Where we work
Based in London, UK with an engineering presence supporting clients across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
London Engineering Office
Core architectural design, regulatory software compliance (NHS DCB0129 / DCB0160, EU MDR), and client engineering leadership.
International Delivery Teams
Distributed engineering capability providing overlapping support hours for clients across North America, the Middle East, and emerging health systems.
Questions organisations ask when considering working with us.
We are a team of 90+ engineers, architects and specialists focused exclusively on healthcare technology. Our size means senior people stay on every project, while having sufficient depth across software, AI, IoT and data engineering to deliver complex systems end-to-end.
Our primary engineering office is in London, UK, with team members working across Europe, North America, and APAC. We work comfortably with clients in the UK, Europe, North America and Africa across overlapping time zones.
Pashupatastra has been building healthcare technology for over 12 years. Our team members bring longer experience from prior roles in health-tech, NHS trusts, enterprise software and medical device companies.
No. We are entirely focused on healthcare technology. We believe building software for healthcare requires deep familiarity with clinical workflows, regulatory frameworks, data standards and patient safety that cannot be maintained as a side interest.
